Philipp Röttgers

Phil is the head of LONDON BEYOND TIME AND PLACE. He is a German writer, historian, journalist and musician in constant search for London’s spirit. Phil studied English literature and culture at the University of Bonn, wrote several books and is an expert on London and its history and literature.

Kate is a multimedia designer and passionate photographer. She loves exploring London with her camera and is always on the lookout for interesting subjects. At LONDON BEYOND TIME AND PLACE, she is responsible for image editing, video production, web design, as well as cover and layout design.

Dorothee Schröder (M.A.)

Dorothee studied German and English language and literature at Ruhr University Bochum.

She loves Great Britain, especially London, where she explores the city off the beaten tourist track. She is the managing director of the literary agency OPERA SCRIPTORIUM, an author and translator, and co-authored the book Jack the Ripper – Die Whitechapel-Morde 1888: Eine Chronologie with Philipp Röttgers, which is known for its meticulous research and detailed account of historical events. As part of the LONDON BEYOND TIME AND PLACE team, she writes articles, conducts research and translates.
